We decided to design this Field Bench to be more specific to the Kyosho Mini-Z, and other 1/28 scale RC cars. This workstation is based on our medium size Field Bench, and features a custom top more tailored toward 1/28 scale RC race cars.
On the right, we have a spot dedicated to an ISDT N8 AA/AAA battery charger. It sits nicely in its dock, and since the charger is powered off of USB-C, it's easy to power off a lipo or power brick, if shore power isn't nearby.
On the left, we designed a shelf to hold 2 to 4 RC cars. They put your cars on display, and keep them out of your way while you work on the surface below. The shelves have small squares of neoprene foam to keep your cars in place as they are parked.
In the middle, we designed the front 7 tool holes to hold the official Kyosho Mini-Z tool set, and .55" holes along the back for any extra tooling. We also left a blank spot left and right of the tools to mount your magnetic work lights.
This upper deck is compatible with all our other Field Bench attachments, so you may build your workstation to suit your needs!
